About

Good Stories, Grounded in Science, Told Well.

I'm a fractional marketing and content strategy partner for healthcare, life sciences, and pharma companies that need senior-level execution without the overhead of a full-time hire.

I founded Twin Bayonets after more than 15 years building content and communications programs at the intersection of science and story — most recently as Director of Content Marketing and Brand at Komodo Health, and before that in leadership roles at IBM Watson Health and IBM Research.

At IBM, I launched an internal communications hub that drove a 46% increase in engagement, secured coverage in TechCrunch, Quartz, Time, the Washington Post, and Axios, and built a science communications program that I eventually scaled to IBM's global THINK conference.

At Komodo, I led the company's content strategy, demand generation assets, and its inaugural customer summit from concept to execution.

I left that world intentionally. The fractional model lets me work with more companies, on more interesting problems, without the organizational drag that comes with full-time roles at scale. My clients get a partner who's worked at the level they're trying to reach — and who has already integrated AI into the workflow so they don’t have to figure that part out themselves.

I'm based in El Paso, Texas. Outside of client work, I can be found knitting, skiing, and baking — though not at the same time. My dogs, Bruce and Barbara, make no promises about conference calls.

What’s in a name?

I know what you’re thinking. “Twin Bayonets seems like a really aggressive name for a marketing consulting LLC.” I always promised myself that if I ever went into business for myself, I’d give a shout-out to my family. Twin Bayonets is an amalgamation of the street names I grew up on. Thanks for everything, Mom & Dad.
